Please find below the list of nominees for positions on the upcoming Stanthorpe & Granite Belt Chamber of Commerce Committee. These nominees will be formally presented at the Annual General Meeting on Wednesday, 12 November.

Committee Nominees

Aline Teixeira – General Committee

I am interested in serving on the management committee to contribute my skills, experience, and perspectiv towards the organisations strategic direction and effective governance. This role represents an opportunity to actively participate in shaping future initiatives in our region, strengthening operations, and ensuring the organisaiton continues to delivery on its strategy. I have held leadership positions for the past 20 years. At Wise Repro, I have been responsibile to lead the groups strategic growth, operational reform, and integration of businesses within the group, positioning Wise Repro as an industry leader in bovine reproductive biotechnology in Australia. Prior to joining Wise Repro I spent most of my time working in a global cosulting firm, leading the execution of multiple transformationsl projects across Australiaand international markets, across all industries deliveing measureable business growth, operrational effeciencies and long term strategic impact.

Belinda Surch – General Committee

Belinda brings extensive experience in finance and business development, with a strong focus on governance, financial oversight and sustainable business operations within the region.

Cecelia Campbell – General Committee

I am enthusiatic about the opportunity to serve on the Stanthorpe Chamber of Commerce Management Committee and contribute to the growth and vitality of our local business community. I bring strong motivation, excellent communication skills and a genuine enthiusiasm for engaging with people and being active within the community. I enjoy connecting with others, listening to their ideas and helping find solutions that benefit both individuals and the wider community. While I may not yet have extensive experience in all areas of the committee, I am a fast learner who is committed to personal growth and continuos improvement. I approach new challenges with cuuriosity, adaptability, and a focus on acheiving practical outcomes. I am eager to contribute my eneregy, creativity, and collaborative approach to support the Chamber’s initiatives and events, helping strengthen relationships within the business community and beyond. My goal is to make a positive impact whole gaining knowledge and experience that will allow me to serve the committee effectively.

Christine Hood – General Committee

I bring a strong blend of leasdersghip, community engagement and business experience developed through over two decades in public service and regional enterprise. After serving with both the Victoria Police & Australian Federal Police, I transitioned into local business ownership as co-owner of Jamworks Gourmet Foods alongside my partner, Stephanie Ingall. Through Jamworks, I have been deely involved in supporting local producers, employing regional staff, hosting community events and championing the Granite Belt as a vibrant food and tourism destination. My role encompasses finance, business development, marketing and event management, as well as advocacy for collaboration between local business and tourism operators. I am passionate about strengthening regional connections, encouraging growth, and promoting Stanthorpe as a thriving and inclusive community. I would be honoured to contribute these skills and local insights to the Chamber committee.

Ken Waldron – General Committee

Ken brings experience across governance, business development and regional industry, with a focus on advocacy and collaboration within the local business community.

Michelle Feenan – President

My interest is about continuing the good work done over the last 12 months in making the chamber a true peak agency for stimulating and maintaining economic viability in our region. Using my leadership skills, community and economic development approaches and through startegic partnership, I am keen to lead a team of fellow committed committee members to achieve this goal.

Nicci Goulter – General Committee

I have served on the committee thoughourt 2025 as secretary & bring experience in governence, leadership & project management. I am keen to continue serving on the committee to assist in supporting and advocating for the business community of the Granite Belt.

Samantha Wantling – General Committee

As Manager of Warwick Today, Stanthorpe Today, I work closely with businesses across the region every day and understand both the challenges and opportunities facing local enterprise. I’m passionate about promoting our region’s strengths, supporting business growth, and ensuring our community continues to thrive through collaboration and strong local representation. In addition to my media role, I serve as Vice President of the Stanthorpe Apple & Grape Harvest Festival, where I help lead large-scale event planning, sponsorship acquisition, grant writing, budgeting, marketing, and community engagement. This experience has strengthened my skills in governance, strategic planning, and stakeholder management, while reinforcing the value of teamwork and accountability. I believe my experience across communication, advocacy, digital marketing, and regional development aligns strongly with the Chamber’s goals. I’m committed to contributing to a progressive, inclusive, and solutions-focused Management Committee that delivers tangible results for members and continues to enhance Stanthorpe’s reputation as a dynamic place to live, work, and do business.

Trudi Turner – General Committee

I have served on the committee throughout 2025 as the Event Sub Committee Lead. I wish to resume serving throughout 2026 to advocate for local businesses. I have extensive knowledge of the region and local connections, particularly within the retail industry.

Nominations for Treasurer and one General Committee Member position will be called from the floor at the AGM. We encourage interested members to consider these important roles to help guide the future direction of our Chamber.

Declaration of Insurance Currency

The Chamber confirms that all necessary insurance policies remain current, ensuring coverage for Chamber activities and the protection of committee members, volunteers and participants.
