Business Chamber Queensland is inviting Queensland businesses to participate in its Future of Women in Business Survey to help shape future programs, resources and policies that support women in business across the state. The survey will provide valuable insights into women’s workforce participation, career pathways and workplace experiences. Chamber members are encouraged to complete the survey and ensure the voices of regional businesses are represented.

Card Surcharging Ban
From 1 October 2026, businesses will not be able to apply a surcharge when customers pay by eftpos, Mastercard, Visa or American Express.
If your business currently applies card surcharges, you may need to update your payment systems, pricing and customer information before the change begins.
Your merchant service provider may contact you about required system changes. Read these communications carefully and complete any necessary steps before 1 October 2026.
